The terms that apply when you use the Smart Seve website, mobile app, and home services operated by Brezamm Technologies Private Limited.

1.Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to Smart Seve, a home services platform operated by Brezamm Technologies Private Limited ("Smart Seve", "we", "us", "our"), based at Vinobha Nagar, Tumkur 572101, Karnataka, India.

By using our website at smartseve.com, the Smart Seve mobile app, or booking any service by phone or WhatsApp, you ("you", "your", "customer") agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years of age to book a service. By booking, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a contract.

2.Our Platform and Services

Smart Seve connects customers with trained and verified independent service professionals who provide a range of home services, including but not limited to appliance repairs, cleaning, personal care, general services, and construction work in Tumkur district and other locations we may serve.

The service professionals are independent contractors and not employees of Brezamm Technologies Private Limited. Smart Seve acts as a platform that facilitates bookings, coordinates visits, and supports quality through verification, training standards, and the service warranty described in these terms.

Service availability may vary by location, time, and demand. We make reasonable efforts to honour estimated response times, such as inspection within 45 minutes in Tumkur city, but these are estimates and not guarantees.

3.Booking, Inspection, and Quotes

  • You can book services through the Smart Seve mobile app, our website, or by call or WhatsApp at 80071-80072.
  • For most services, a professional visits your location for a free inspection and provides a quotation at no charge.
  • Work begins only after you approve the quote. The approved quote, plus any additions you approve during the work, forms the final price.
  • You agree to provide accurate information about the service needed, your address, and your contact number so we can serve you properly.
  • We may decline or reschedule a booking due to professional availability, safety concerns, or locations outside our service area.

4.Pricing and Payment

  • Payment is collected only after the service is completed to your satisfaction.
  • You can pay in cash, or through online methods such as UPI, cards, or net banking as available.
  • The Smart Seve mobile app does not currently collect or process payments. All payments are made directly at the time of service completion.
  • If spare parts or materials are required, their cost is informed to you and included in the quote before the work proceeds.
  • For some distant areas, a travel charge may apply. It is always informed to you in advance as part of the quote.

5.Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booking at any time before the work begins, at no charge.
  • If the professional has already begun the work, you are responsible for paying for the work completed and any materials already used or purchased for your job.
  • We may cancel or reschedule a booking due to professional unavailability, weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases we will inform you and arrange the earliest alternative.

6.Service Warranty

  • We provide a 90 day service warranty on the work performed. If the same issue related to the work done returns within 90 days of service completion, we arrange for it to be addressed at no additional cost.
  • The warranty covers the workmanship of the service performed. It does not cover: new or unrelated faults, damage caused by misuse, accidents, power fluctuations, pest or water damage, tampering or repair attempts by others after our service, pre-existing conditions we informed you about, or normal wear and tear.
  • Spare parts and materials may carry a separate manufacturer warranty. Such warranties are provided by the manufacturer under the manufacturer's own terms, not by Smart Seve.
  • To claim warranty service, contact us at 80071-80072 within the warranty period with your booking details.

7.Refund Policy

Because payment is collected only after you confirm satisfaction with the completed work, refunds are not provided once payment is made. Any issue with the work after payment is addressed through the 90 day service warranty described above.

8.Your Responsibilities

To help the service go smoothly and safely, you agree to:

  • Ensure the professional has access to the premises at the scheduled time, along with reasonable access to electricity and water where the work requires it.
  • Ensure an adult (18 or older) is present at the premises during the service.
  • Take reasonable care of your personal belongings, valuables, and important documents during the service. We recommend securing valuables before the visit.
  • Provide accurate and complete information about the service needed and disclose any known issues, hazards, or previous repair attempts.
  • Ensure you have the legal right to authorise work at the premises, including any permissions required from a landlord, society, or association where applicable.
  • Keep pets secured during the service visit.
  • Treat service professionals with respect and provide a safe working environment.

9.Safety and Conduct

  • Our professionals have the right to a safe and respectful workplace. We may pause or cancel a service, and may decline future bookings, in cases of abuse, harassment, unsafe conditions, or unlawful requests.
  • You agree not to ask professionals to perform work that is unsafe, illegal, or outside the scope of the booked service.
  • You agree not to bypass the platform by directly engaging a professional introduced to you by Smart Seve for off-platform work, as this removes your warranty and our quality protections.
  • You agree not to misuse our website or app, including attempting to hack, copy, scrape, or disrupt them, or using our content, brand name, or logo without written permission.

10.Limitation of Liability

  • Service professionals connected through Smart Seve are independent contractors. Responsibility for any damage caused during a service rests with the professional who performed the work.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Brezamm Technologies Private Limited arising out of any service or use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, data, or business opportunity.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural calamities, strikes, government restrictions, power failures, or network outages.
  • Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws of India that cannot be limited by agreement.

11.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brezamm Technologies Private Limited, its directors, and staff from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or unlawful conditions at your premises that you failed to disclose.

12.Intellectual Property

The Smart Seve name, logo, website, app, and all content on them are the property of Brezamm Technologies Private Limited and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

13.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised date and are effective from posting. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

14.Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tumkur, Karnataka.
